Hello Reader, You don’t need to love the gym to take care of the body God gave you. We've probably all been there... Late in the evening. After a rough day. You've already settled into the tuckus-shaped indentation on the couch. You're scrolling Netflix looking for the next binge. The last thing you're thinking of is that commitment you made to yourself at the beginning of the year. The one where you said: "This year is the year. I'm gonna get in shape!" That's a distant memory, drowned out by the exhaustion of life. Overshadowed by all your other responsibilities. Your job. Your family. Your relationships. The last thing you want to do is pry yourself off the couch and drag your butt to the gym. So... You don't. Instead, you promise yourself: "Eh... I'll do it tomorrow." But deep down, you’re not convinced tomorrow will be any different. Then tomorrow gets here and the same thing happens again. And before you realize it, years pass and you're looking in the mirror at a version of you that you no longer recognize. You think to yourself, "How did this happen?" The answer is that you were simply trying to force yourself into a fitness routine that never fit your life. Here's the truth you need to hear: You don't need a gym membership to steward your body in a way that honors God. You don't need to drag yourself to the gym (but you do need to pry yourself off the couch). You don't even need any special equipment. You can begin with the ability you have today, using the body God has blessed you with. You can honor Him through simple bodyweight exercises. Squats. Planks. Push-ups. Those three already give you a simple full-body starting point. It doesn't have to be grueling. It doesn't have to be complicated. And it definitely doesn't have to be at the gym. It just has to be done. Consistently. You can start with ten quiet minutes in your living room—without driving anywhere, learning complicated machines, or feeling watched. And look, I know that's hard when you're just starting out and have no idea what you're doing. That's why I created the Easy At-Home Exercise Guide for Christians. Inside, you’ll get a beginner-friendly at-home routine, simple exercise instructions, and demonstration videos so you can start safely and confidently. And it's completely free! Download the free guide and take your first simple step today. P.S. Send the guide to a friend and ask them to join you. Starting is easier—and consistency is more likely—when you don’t have to do it alone.

Hello Reader, Most plans don’t fall apart when everything is going well. They fall apart when something changes. You work late. You get home hungry and realize dinner isn’t ready. You’re tired, irritated, and standing in the kitchen thinking about how much easier it would be to grab fast food and start again tomorrow. Suddenly, the commitment you made yesterday feels negotiable. The worst time to decide what matters is when pressure is already deciding for you. That’s why one of the most...
Hello Reader, You can have a clear goal, a good plan, and every intention of following through. Then one bad day starts changing the way you talk to yourself. You get tired. You make a mistake. The plan takes longer than expected. And almost immediately, a thought starts interpreting what happened: “I can’t do this.” “I always fail.” “This isn’t worth it.” “I’m too exhausted.” The problem isn’t that every negative thought is completely false. You may actually be exhausted. You may have...
Hello Reader, What if something that sounds a little “New Age” actually points to a much more grounded biblical principle? I’m talking about visualization. There’s a well-known basketball study often attributed to Dr. Blasiotto at the University of Chicago. One group physically practiced free throws every day. Another group didn’t practice at all—but spent time visualizing themselves successfully shooting free throws. A third group did neither. The results? The physical-practice group...
